I don’t do the hard sell, my program sells itself and if you feel that’s time to take your business to the next level then think it over and get back to me after we’ve talked.
I build a fantastic relationship with all my clients, I’m honest, upfront and there for you, you can’t build a relationship on a hard sell that’s what gives marketing mentors a bad name and that’s just not me.
Thank you and hope to speak to you soon, Jeff.
Well I thought I’d share a bit of my photography and marketing background with you, so here goes.
I first got into photography as a child, but didn’t get my first proper SLR camera until my late teens, then that was me I was hooked so to speak. I did my first wedding at 21 and it scared the hell out of me, I don’t think I got a wink of sleep the night before.
At 27 I went on to join the military and served as a Royal Navy Photographer. The training was hard and intense but the job satisfaction was out of this world. I worked on many high profile jobs, doing amazing things I never would have had the chance to do in civilian life including photographing many celebrities, Heads of State and several members of the British Royal Family.
After nearly 10 years service I decided it was time to leave the Armed Forces to set-up my own Wedding and Portrait Photography Company. I thought that my photography was of a fairly decent standard but if I really wanted my business to succeed I knew I’d need to work on my marketing, so I enrolled on several marketing courses and soon I’d got the marketing bug, I loved it.
Within 18 months the Wedding and Portrait business was turning well over £100,000. We had a separate Commercial and PR Photography Company that was equally as busy, plus a School and Nursery Photography business that had over 60 contracts on its books. Two years later we were averaging over 80 weddings per year and ran one of the busiest Boudoir Photography Makeover Studios in the country. All of this was achieved through branding, marketing and social media, without marketing I would never have achieved the success I did.
I also write for several industry publications and photography magazines and I am proud to have Colorworld Labs and 3XM Solutions as sponsors of my program.
I’m honoured to have been chosen as the official Marketing Ambassador for the British Photography Awards, which provides me with another great platform to educate as many photographers as I can.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Jeff this year.
His understanding of how Linkedin can help raise your profile in your target markets is quite incredible.
You really do feel that he is "on your side" all the time and that he genuinely wants to see you succeed.
I have no hesitation in recommending Jeff's services to any photographer who needs to gain a better understanding of this increasinly important channel of social media. "

"As a photographer on the road and often in 3rd world countries where the photography industry is sometimes non existent, not to mention language barriers.
Jeff has been a great support for me. He continually researches the photography and marketing fields and uses his up to date knowledge to move my business forward. I enjoy his personal touch and friendly manner in the way we do business. He always goes the extra mile which is greatly appreciated. Thank you Jeff."
